Upon arrival, the staff's greeting was non-existent. Not only was the service poor, but I felt unwelcome and frustrated throughout our stay.

I loved the charming vintage decor throughout Al's Westward Ho Motel, which added a cozy, homey feel. The accessible layout made it easy for me to move around, and the staff were always ready to assist.

Had a great time with friends! Rooms were comfy and clean. We enjoyed a day of horseback riding and a ride on paddle boats. Be aware that there’s no coffee maker in rooms, but you can grab coffee next door after 7 AM. The staff was friendly and helped us find good spots to eat.

We had to go next door for coffee, which didn’t open until 7 AM, so it was a bit inconvenient early in the morning.

good location but dated interiors

The motel is conveniently located right at the edge of town. You can easily drive into the park from here. Plus, many excellent restaurants and shops are within walking distance, which adds to the experience.

my stay was wonderful as I loved how I could easily stroll to West Yellowstone Heritage Park and also have quick access to delightful local dining options like Taco's El Mirador, making my city wandering quite enjoyable.

I enjoyed my stay at Al's Westward Ho Motel, primarily for its fantastic location. It's just a stone's throw from the West entrance of Yellowstone, making it super convenient for park visits. The room I stayed in was clean and spacious, which made relaxing after a long day enjoyable. The owner was friendly and very helpful, adding a nice personal touch to the experience. I liked having access to free coffee and tea, even if I had to walk to the nearby service station to get it. On the downside, the mattress was a bit lumpy, which affected my comfort at night. Also, parking was crowded and tricky, so I had to be careful when maneuvering in and out of the lot.
